Research and Grants Data-driven, theory-based research and practice in health promotion forms the foundation from which Prevention and Wellness Services (PWS) has developed successful applications for external funding. PWS regularly collects scientific data on overall student health status, alcohol and drug use, and men's and women's attitudes towards violence. Since 1991, PWS has received over $4 million in grant funding. Funding Sources 1991-2005
