Veterans Services
Welcome the Veterans Services Web pages! Our job is to work with veterans and their dependents to help them reach their educational goals. We look forward to helping you maximize the benefits you have earned. To best serve you, there are a few things you should know.
First, every veteran and dependent enrolling at Western for the first time must either apply for educational benefits with the VA or fill out a change of program form (if you have used your benefits previously at another school). In order for you to receive your payments on time, this should be done several months before you wish to begin attending WWU. Contact our office if you have any questions or concerns about applying for VA benefits. Our email is veterans.affairs@wwu.edu.
Also, make sure you have submitted an application for enrollment to Western Washington University. All students must complete the application process before they are considered for admission.
Priority Registration: All eligible veterans are qualified for priority registration, which helps students get the classes they need and promotes efficient use of benefits. Click here to learn more.
We are more than glad to assist you with any issues concerning your career at Western.
