Meet with an Advisor

The Academic Advising Center has many opportunities for you to meet with an advisor and get assistance with course planning, meeting graduation requirements, choosing a major, understanding academic policies, and more!

Peer Advising

Peer Advisors are available in Old Main 380 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to answer your questions about registration, GUR planning, academic policies, and finding resources on campus.

Walk-In Advising

We offer walk-in advising appointments with a Professional Advisor Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Old Main 380 during fall, winter, and spring quarters. Use walk-in advising when you need a quick answer – appointments are limited to fifteen minutes.


Appointments with a Professional Advisor can be made Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. by calling 360-650-3850 or stopping by OM 380 in person. Professional Advisors are here to assist you with choosing a major, developing an academic plan, understanding university policies, and much more.
