AAC Student Art Gallery Submission Form

AAC Gallery

The artwork in the Academic Advising Center Student Art Gallery is rotated on a quarterly basis and is selected by a committee of staff members. There is space for installation of 4-6 pieces. Work should have a broadness of appeal and not be exclusive in doctrine to any one group of people. Submission requires images of work and a short artist statement. Below is listed the schedule of deadlines and rotations:

  Summer/Fall Winter Spring
Submission Deadline: May 17 Nov 2 Feb 1
Decision Date: May 24 Nov 16 Feb 22
Set Up (Finals Week of): Spring Fall Winter
Take Down (Finals Week of): Fall Winter Spring

The artist is responsible for providing work which is ready to hang. A secure hanging wire is preferred and may be required for safety purposes. AAC Student Gallery space has set nails provided for hanging. The dimensions of the space available is listed below:

Space 1: wall – 24” – nail – 36” – nail – 24” - wall
Space 2: wall – 30” – nail – 36” – nail – 30” – window
Space 3: window – 18.5” – nail – 18.5” – window
Space 4: window – 24” – nail – 40” – wall

Please upload jpeg images of each intended piece to be displayed to the Academic Advising Center Dropbox site with the following file format (FirstName.LastName-Title of Piece). You will receive a confirmation email that your files have been received. Please note that only staff on the selection committee will be able to view the submitted images.
