Background: Harley is the author of the novel, “The New Boy,” and in 2011 was the executive producer for the award winning film “JESS+MOSS.” Harley’s career began as a television news journalist and producer. He was the west coast producer of “A Current Affair”, “Extra” and “Hard Copy.” In 2006, Harley and Mighty Oak Entertainment produced “Whacked out Sports,” “Whacked out Videos,” “Knockout Sports World,” “Sports Crash” and “Monster Knockout.” Harley also produced the comedy hidden camera show “You’ve Been Sacked” for Monday Night Football in 2004.
Harley graduated from WWU in 1991 with a BA in broadcast media studies. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, True, and two children.
Fun Fact: “The New Boy” was set at Western Washington University, where Harley was a member of the WWU Rugby Club and staff member at KUGS.
