Double Major - Recreation & Communication

I have lived by the motto, “Do what you love, and love what you do.” Growing up, I was very active and felt very passionate in all of my endeavors. I continue to live that way today. I have over 700 hours of community service since graduating high school. I truly believe that all of my hard work has paid off by receiving scholarships.
“For students like me who do not receive financial aid, it’s associations like yours that keep us from being consumed by student debt."
This is my second year receiving this scholarship and I can’t explain how much it means to be recognized for my successes. The scholarship has in part enabled me to be debt free upon graduation.
I coach diving for the Bellingham School District. In my spare time, I love to attend musical theater productions, swim, cook and play cribbage with friends!
Being the daughter of educators has allowed me to understand the importance of education. I cannot thank my family enough for the values they have instilled in me.
