On Saturday, March 8, Professor Steven Emory will present an interactive science program that focuses on the chemical aspects of modern day materials. Have you ever wondered about the materials chemistry of mood rings, super balls, or even butterflies? This educational show will explore these questions using a series of dramatic chemical demonstrations combined with scientific explanations designed for children in grades 5-9. Professor Emory will be assisted by students from Western Washington University's Chem Club.
