The AUAP provides opportunities for students to experience American life
and culture through a variety of program-wide activities. The following
are some of the programs and activities designed to involve students in
real-life interaction with Americans:
Campus Friends Program
AUAP students may take advantage of this excellent opportunity to practice
English and learn more about American culture and university life.
American students at WWU volunteer to meet with AUAP students on a one-to-one
basis to practice English, share Japanese conversation, discuss
topics of interest, enjoy a cup of coffee, or do other activities together.
If you would like to volunteer as a Campus Friend or would like further
information about the program, please contact the Campus / Community
