Every third weekend in May, thousands of Vikings venture to the far corner of Northwest Washington for a reunion of epic proportions. How epic, you ask?
Over the past six years, Back2Bham has hosted alumni, parents, friends and family members who traveled from 30 states and four foreign countries.
Bouncy houses, inflatable slides and obstacle courses, harnessed trampolines, zipline, lunching in the fresh open air… you get the idea.
During Back2Bham, 25 gallons of the Pacific Northwest’s signature elixir, Viking Blend, is consumed by staff, guests and volunteers. As for regional bites and glasses of delicious craft beer… our mathematicians are still counting.
Grab your water bottle one for one of our guided tours: kayaking on the Bay, bicycle Bellingham with the Outdoor Center, birding, outdoor art sculpture viewing, sailing & motorboat rides and high ropes course at Lakewood or go on a hike with WOOT (Western Outdoor Orientation Trips.)
Student performers, a circus, choir concert, dance performances, improv theatre and live bands including Bellingham’s own SpaceBand and Baby Cakes.
Although you’ll have plenty of options on campus for entertainment and education during Back2Bham weekend, we know you’ll want to hit your favorite Bellingham places, too. Rated one of the best cities to visit and live in the country, Bellingham offers something for everyone.
