Biology encompasses areas ranging from molecular biology to ecology. This breadth of inquiry is reflected in our curriculum and in faculty and student research. Our joint missions of teaching and research strongly complement each other and provide an educational experience of very high quality.

Biol 417a Ecological Methods
This research methods course supports and
is integrated with the Reptile Ecology research course.
Biol 417b Research in Reptile Ecology
The 3 primary subject species:
Gambelia wislizenii, Aspidoscelis tigris,
Phrynosoma platyrhinos
3 weeks in the Great Basin Desert,
Courses scheduled June 18 - July 30, 2008
6 credits for each class
