Short Biography

I have been a faculty member at WWU since 2008.  My main research interests are in the areas of upper extremity neuromuscular control and power production for athletic movements. 
Specifically, my research activities pursue:

  • Biomechanics in healthy and unhealthy shoulders
  • Scapular kinematics in rehabilitation exercises
  • Factors affecting shoulder joint position sense
  • Mechanisms for maximizing power output during a stretch-shortening cycle
