Mission Statement

Contract Administration is here to help you with any contracting needs you might have. Contracts by definition are any written form of documentation legally obligating the University for performance or monetary issues, regardless of cost, source of funds and/or no cost agreements. As part of that responsibility, we review, route, and obtain the signatures of the parties of any agreement.

Because the University can be legally bound by such contracts, it is important that Contract Administration review the terms and conditions of every contract. We obtain the review and signature of the Assistant Attorney General, and because the University is self-insured for general liability losses, we stage all agreements for Risk Management review prior to execution to minimize both tort and contractual liability expenses. When necessary, we route contracts to the Board of Trustees and/or the Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Contract Administration can help you avoid the pitfalls of contracting, and will work with you to produce a dependable, fully executed contract.
