Spooky Spokes Bike Decorating Contest

Get in the Halloween spirit with our "Spooky Spokes" bicycle decorating contest!

To participate, sign up at IMLeagues.com and then decorate your bike and bring it into the Rec Center any time before 5 p.m. on Halloween to have it judged. The best bikes will win prizes including free gear from Fanatic Bike Company, fitness X-Passes and more!

Faculty/Staff Reduced Hours Memberships

This limited membership for current WWU faculty and staff includes access to the Student Recreation Center from Monday through Friday from the building's opening until 1 p.m. and all hours on weekends. As part of this program the quarterly rate for this limited membership, regularly $60, will be reduced to $30 thanks to a $30 University match. Please note that all memberships are taxable.

Members must exit the facility by 1:00pm and entry after 12:40pm on weekdays will not be permitted with this reduced hours membership. Payroll deduction is currently not available.

  • Question:  I just graduated from WWU last quarter. Can I still use the Rec Center?
    • Answer: As a graduating student, you are entitled to purchase a membership for one additional quarter beyond your graduation. Alternatively, you may also join the WWU Alumni Association, which will make you eligible to purchase quarterly and annual memberships as a non-student.
