Sign up for a Summer Student Membership

If you're a WWU student but not taking classes during the summer, you are still eligible for a membership!

All you need to do is fill out an Account Adjustment Form and drop it off at the Rec Center front desk, and we'll have the quarterly Rec Center fee of $99 added to your student account so you can continue to have access to the facility.

As a Spring Quarter student, your last day to use the facility is Monday, June 22.

Faculty/Staff Reduced Hours Memberships

This membership for current WWU faculty and staff includes access to the Student Recreation Center from Monday through Friday 6am-1pm and all hours on weekends. As part of this program the $60 quarterly membership rate will be reduced to $30 thanks to a $30 University match. Please note that all memberships are taxable.

Memberships can only be purchased on a quarterly basis at the Student Recreation Center, and memberships for Summer Quarter will go on sale Tuesday, June 23. Members must exit the facility by 1:00pm and entry after 12:40pm on weekdays will not be permitted with this reduced hours membership. Payroll deduction is currently not available.

Question of the Month

Each month we will post a different frequently asked question and answer about the Student Recreation Center!  Feel free to check out our FAQ Page to learn more about the facility.  This month's question:

  • Question:  I will be a returning student in the fall, but I am not taking classes during the summer. Can I still use the Rec Center?
    • Answer:  If you are not taking summer classes, or are enrolled for under 6 credits, you can maintain access to the Student Recreation Center all summer long by having the quarterly Rec Center fee added to your student account. Just fill out an Account Adjustment Form and submit it to the front desk staff at the Rec Center.
