Climbing Wall - NW Collegiate Climbing Competition
Each winter, the Student Recreation Center hosts an exciting climbing event called the Northwest Collegiate Climbing Competition.
Series Background
Western Washington University is pleased to announce Veni. Vidi. Ascendi., part of the
sixth annual Northwest Collegiate Climbing Competition (NC3). The
series of competitions are designed to foster community involvement in and bring attention to the increasingly popular sport of climbing.
WWU first participated in the series in 2008, and each year the event held at our Student Recreation Center climbing wall is one of the largest competitions of the entire series! In 2013, WWU hosted the second event of the series on Saturday, February 2.
This series allows participants to experience a high level of competitive sport and foster growth within the climbing community.

2013 NC3 Competition Details
The NC3 competition
was held at WWU on Saturday, February 2. The competition featured four
skill levels: Beginner (V0-1),
Intermediate (V2-3), Advanced (V4-5), and Open (V6+). View the Competition

2010 Competition Results
On February 6, 2010 the Student Recreation Center climbing wall hosted the third annual Veni. Vidi. Ascendi. climbing competition, which was the second installment of the 2010 Northwest Collegiate Climbing Competition Series climbing competition.
