Therapeutic Massage Services
NOTE: In light of recent health concerns, massages will not be given to customers who are ill.
Types of Massages:
- Seated/Chair: Convenient for treatments of upper body. Excellent form of relaxation.
- Swedish (most common): Excellent for increasing circulation and relieving tired, aching muscles. This gentle yet relaxing massage uses light to moderate pressure.
- Deep Tissue: Using the same types of strokes as Swedish, the therapist will use more intense pressure to work deeper into the connective tissue and break down adhesions beneath the skin. This massage is best suited to those who are experienced spa-goers and enjoy a strong touch.
- Relaxation/Stress Reduction: Creates a balance in body systems, release pinched nerves. Releases physical, emotional and spiritual trauma. Interrupts headache and migraine patters.
- Neuromuscular: Utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. The technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body to balance the central nervous system.
- Hot Stone Massage: A hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heat stones which helps tight muscles release. This deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage is more expensive than a basic massage because it requires more preparation. It is available in a 60 minute session only.
