Climbing Wall - NW Collegiate Climbing Challenge

Each year, the Wade King Student Recreation Center hosts a climbing competition called the Northwest Collegiate Climbing Challenge.

Series Background

Western Washington University is pleased to announce Veni. Vidi. Ascendi., part of the fifth Annual Northwest Collegiate Climbing Challenge (NC3). The series of competitions are designed to foster community involvement in and bring attention to the increasingly popular sport of climbing.

In 2011, the series of eight climbing competitions had over 1000 participants from 14 universities and their surrounding communities. With over 125 competitors, Veni. Vidi. Ascendi. was the largest competition of 2011!

This series allows participants to experience a high level of competitive sport and foster growth within the climbing community. Click here to view the entire NC3 2012 series schedule.

2012 NC3 Competition

The NC3 competition took place at the climbing wall at the Wade King Student Recreation Center on Saturday, February 11!

2010 Competition Results

On February 6, 2010 the Student Recreation Center climbing wall hosted the third annual Veni. Vidi. Ascendi. climbing competition, which was the second installment of the 2010 Northwest Collegiate Climbing Competition Series climbing competition.
