Elyse C. Alper Scholarship for International Studies

Don and Jan Alper established this scholarship in 2010 to honor and celebrate the life of their daughter Elyse and carry forward her lifelong joy of travel and in establishing friendships across continents. This scholarship will provide opportunities for students to study outside the United States at recognized universities and will promote and further greater international understanding and goodwill.

The Dean's office of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences will confirm funding and call for nominations during Winter Quarter for the scholarship award for the next academic year. For more information please visit the WWU Scholarship page (http://www.finaid.wwu.edu/scholarships/).
