  • Cloud Mountain Farm Center

    Cloud Mountain Farm Center is a working farm, with rich learning opportunities for beginning and experienced farmers and gardeners.  Academic internships are available working for sustainable agriculture. This internship program will provide opportunities for Western Washington University students to receive hands on experience with the production and marketing of Whatcom County agriculture products. Interns can choose from a wide variety of local farms offering a diverse range of opportunities. Participating students must be enrolled in Western Washington University during the quarter of their internship. Check out our website for details.

  • SeaMar Community Health Center

    SeaMar is a community based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human And housing services to diverse communities, specializing in Latinos. We serve residents of Clark, Franklin, Grays Harbor, Island, King, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, Thurston, and Whatcom Counties. SeaMar volunteers have the opportunity to gain experience in the health care and nonprofit field.

  • WWU Center for Service Learning

    The Center for Service-Learning offers services that facilitate true partnerships and that meet the common goals of the WWU, local, regional and international communities. Service-learning pedagogy can be applied to any discipline and our faculty and student participants represent all seven colleges of the university. Our programs and services include:

    • Service-learning classroom support
    • Linking students to volunteer opportunities
    • Faculty Fellows professional development programs
    • International service-learning program
    • National Days of Service and other events
