Information for Law School Fair Representatives

Western Washington University (WWU) enrolls 15,000 students and offers 160 academic programs. Students at all class levels attend this event. It is open to the public with community members often attending. Two community colleges, Whatcom Community College and Skagit Valley College, and Northwest Indian College are located within a 35 mile radius.

Location of WWU Event

Western Washington University is located in Bellingham, Washington. The Viking Union Multipurpose Room (VU MPR) is located on Western's north campus. The Union overlooks Bellingham Bay plus several of Puget Sound's 172 San Juan Islands. The University is 90 miles north of Seattle, and 55 miles south of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Event Time Frames

• 9:30-11:00 a.m.  -  Van shuttle for registered vendors runs between south campus parking and event site
• 11:00-3:00 p.m.  -  Event in progress; NO SHUTTLES are in operation
• 3:00 p.m.  -  Shuttle service from the VU to the parking lot resumes

Amenities

We provide a 3' x 6' table and chair (but no table drape). Due to space limitations we request that vendors use only tabletop displays rather than large floor-based backdrops. One parking pass and one boxed lunch per registration are provided.

Conditions of Participation

We will accommodate representatives of schools and programs that are ABA-approved and are also in compliance with WWU's Career Services Center's Recruitment Policy.

Registration Fee

$100 includes one table and chair set up, one vehicle parking pass, and one lunch. Additional lunches may be purchased (see registration form) for $10 each. Registration is due by October 26, 2012.

Refunds

No refunds can be made after November 2, 2012.

1. Print the PDF version of the Registration Form.
2. Complete and mail the form, with payment, to:

Event Confirmation

Confirmations will be e-mailed approximately two weeks prior to the event date. Receipt of confirmation is your authorization to participate in this event.

We request that shipped materials be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 7th. Avoid surprises. Confirm delivery of shipped materials through your carrier's online tracking system (FedEx, UPS, etc.). Note: In observation of Veteran's Day, WWU will be closed on Monday, November 12, 2012.

We are unable to feature literature shipped from non-registered programs at this event.

Parking and Special Accommodations

Approximately two weeks prior to the event, registrants will be e-mailed information pertaining to on-campus parking assignments. Parking permits are not pre-shipped. A University representative will be at the assigned parking lot from 9:30-11 a.m. on the event day to issue parking passes to registrants upon their arrival. Shuttle service will run between the parking and event locations from 9:30-11 a.m. and again at 3 p.m.
