Michael Harthorne and Kera Wanielista, two alumni from the Journalism Department, were recently hired by KOMO News in Seattle to write “hyperlocal" articles for KOMO's news websites.  Travis Mayfield, the Executive Producer at Fisher Interactive Network, says, “You've given me two of my BEST reporters!  Michael and Kera are rockstars in my book (and honestly in ALL the news manager's books)….
