College of Humanities & Social Sciences (CHSS) Alumni Association Leadership Scholarship

The Alumni Association Leadership Scholarship was established in 2008, to provide for students who display a talent for being active within their community, participate in leadership building activities, provide service to others, succeed academically, and have a financial need. One $1,000 award will be given to a student from the humanities discipline and a second award of $1,000 given to a student from the social and behavioral sciences.

Specific Criteria:

1. Essay that describes the value of a public liberal arts education and the importance of developing multidisciplinary analytical skills, and articulate applicant's commitment to community engagement.
