Dr. Brent Carbajal, Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, joined the Department of Modern and Classical Languages in 1997. He served as Department Chair from 2000-2008.

As Dean, Dr. Carbajal presides over 13 academic departments, two interdisciplinary programs, and two professional training and community service centers.
