About
Ask the Doc is a feature of the WWU Student Health Center's web site that enables WWU students to ask a health question anonymously. It is designed to assist our students in making informed decisions about all aspects of their health by providing non-judgmental, science-based responses to their questions and is not meant in any way to replace a direct clinic visit involving extensive history taking, physical examination and assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Any sincere, respectful health-related question from a current WWU student is welcome. We reserve the right to refuse to post questions that we don't deem relevant or appropriate, or may defer an answer to a question on line that clearly represents a health condition that must be seen in clinic to be properly evaluated, and will instead recommend a direct evaluation.
Ask the Doc is supported by a team of WWU health educators and health care providers. As this is an anonymous service, we are unable to reply personally or privately to any email sent through the Ask the Doc web page. If you wish to correspond with a WWU health care provider privately, please contact them by phone or email directly.
If you have any other questions or comments about the website, feel free to contact the web-master.
