I wanna know what could having a bloody nose cause you to sometimes cough up blood in any way.

 

A:

Bleeding in the upper nasopharynx will sometimes drain down the back of the throat, and then you cough up the bloody phlegm. If you don't think the blood you are coughing up is from your nose, then we need to see you to evaluate if it is coming from your lungs. Recurrent nosebleeds always need evaluation.
