Q:

How do you stop a bloody nose?

A:

You pinch with thumb and index finger right below the bony bridge of the nose (fairly high) and hold constantly for at least 10 minutes. If the bleeding persists, hold for another 10 minutes. If that still doesn't stop the bleeding, it is time to go in for medical intervention. A spray of a neosynephrine (vasoconstricting) spray can also be beneficial, but over doing that will perpetuate the problem.
