Q:
I recently got over a fever, however my body seems to still
be trying to get rid of it. It has been gone for almost 24 hours now, but I
am still sweating just as much as when my body was trying to break it. Why
is this?
A:
You can
still have a diaphoresis (sweat reaction) even if you are not running fever,
in response to the presumably viral infection you are fighting. If you are
still having sweats without fever after 2-3 nights, then you should be
examined to identify the potential cause.
