I am a female and was diagnosed with HPV two days ago and was prescribed a topical gel to apply directly to the visible warts I have. However, I've heard that it's very painful and burns quite a bit so I've haven't used it yet. If I come in to see a doctor at the Health Center about it, is there an alternative prescription I can get?
