Q:
I wrote earlier about having bumps and blemishes on my left palm. This might be a bit of an exaggerated observation. There aren't actually bumps on my palm. It looks more like I have red dots under my skin. Could these be broken capillaries? I just feel that a nurse or doctor would take me to be a hypochondriac, and I have a feeling that what I have is nothing, and they would tell me this.
A:
Once again, this is unusual and deserves a look by a health care provider. Simply call the receptionist at 650-3400 and ask for an appointment with Dr. Gibson, and I can assure you, I Swill not consider this a case of hypochondriasis. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to tell a patient, "this doesn't look like anything you'll need to spend any more time worrying about!"
So feel free to come in for an opinion.
