I'm thinking about getting a flu shot and was wondering if the health center is giving them out, how much they cost, and whether coverage like Premera or Group Health would cover it? Are they recommended for college students or is it better to let my immune system fight it off if I do get a strain of the flu? Thanks.

We are giving flu shots to students when they come in for other things as well as offering flu shot clinic days. Our website does have further information.

Yes, we recommend them to college students as the flu can knock you out of classes for 4-5 days and can have life-threatening complications. The cost is on our website and we do bill Group Health but not other insurance plans, though you can have a receipt to pursue reimbursement from insurance.
