Q:
I have two plantars wart on the bottom of my foot and was wondering what type of treatments you provide. I had success with having them cut out before, but do you only provide non-surgical treatment?
A:
We can give you topical salicylic acid bandages for application to the wart, or we can freeze with dry ice (liquid nitrogen). We strongly recommend against any surgical intervention because of the possibility of a painful scar being left behind for what is a self-limited, nuisance infection that will resolve on its own over time.
