Hello Doc,
Is there a place in Bellingham that provides low-cost, or sliding scale psychological counseling? I am not attending WWU this quarter, so that is why I ask.

In lieu of such an option, what can you recommend for someone in my situation?

The graduate program in the Dept of Psychology at WWU offers counseling with graduate students--that is the most affordable option in the community. Otherwise, the Interfaith Clinic, SeaMar Clinic and Whatcom Counseling and Psychiatric Clinic offer sliding scale counseling.
