Q:
I recently had sexual contact with someone that I did not know so well. Even though we used a condom and he told me that he was clean, I'm still pretty skeptical.
-How soon should I get tested?
-How long does it take for STD's or STI's to show up?Also, after performing un-safe oral sex, what are the chances of catching anything?
A:
It is wise for you to be tested now. You can have testing done of vagina, throat or anus, depending on the sexual activity engaged in. Any penetration with someone with an STD can put you at risk, so it is wise to have a consultation about what are all the options for testing would be.
