Can lower back, leg, buttock, or abdominal pain be herpes related? If so when would those symptoms be expected (specifically for an initial outbreak) and how would the pain manifest itself?

 

A:

Yes, it is possible that you could have general discomfort in a body area related to an imminent herpes breakout but usually there would be blisters developing withint 24-48 hours later. It is pain that varies from burning to aching.
