Q:
Hello. What is the reason to get clitoral hood surgery. Is it for medical reasons? Are there any dangers from getting that surgery? Also is there a way that clitoral glands can get damaged or injured? Thank you.
A:
Don't believe everything you read on the internet....
Clitoral hood surgery is a completely unnecessary procedure advertised as a way to "help women orgasm more easily" because of apparently "redundant tissue" overlying the clitoris.
The clitoris responds to external pressure and manipulation and the tissue overlying it is protective and doesn't change clitoral stimulation and response one iota. Genital surgery is absolutely not necessary to have a satisfying sex life (and that includes circumsion).
