Q:
I am experiencing headaches on a daily basis. They don't persist throughout the day, but tend to start around the same time each day; though sometimes I get them earlier in the day than others. OTC tension headache medication works some times, but other times nothing works and I just have to wait it out. Does this require medical attention or should I just continue taking OTC headache relief medication?
A:
The irony is that you can end up with rebound headaches from the consistent use of over the counter headache medication so you end up with constant headaches, or even worse symptoms.
Any persisting daily headache deserves an evaluation so yes, please call 650-3400 for an appointment.
