I am taking prozac and I often forget things. Does the prozac make me forget things or is it just me?

 

A:

With so little information, it isn't possible to know if the medication is potentially causing memory problems, or possibly the diagnosis (like depression or anxiety) which the medication was prescribed for is the reason. Or possibly another reason altogether, like marijuana or alcohol use.

You need to level with your prescriber that you are having difficulty with your memory so that a thorough evaluation can be done.
