Are there any anti-depressents or anxiety medications that do not have weight gain as a possible side-effect? A few years ago I was on medication and I gained about 20 lbs. I think it was Wellbutren. The weight gain made me feel even worse. I am thinking I may need medication again but I don't want the weight gain.

Most of the antidepressants don't cause weight gain so your experience would be atypical. See if you can find out what you were put on and you can meet with one of our mental health providers to decide what might be most appropriate now.
