A few days ago my left ear became plugged. It didn't hurt, so I assumed it was wax build up. I got a Murine removal kit and have used it four times, but so far it hasn't seemed to help. And the last time I used it my ear started to itch and burn right after. Could it be an infection? Or is there a reason the kit isn't working?

It might not be wax build up causing the plugging, but fluid behind the tympanic membrane (ear drum), so the wax removal kit would not be helpful. You might be reacting to the chemicals in the ear wash, so it is best to discontinue it. We should take a look when we open again on Tuesday. It is unlikely an infection given the description of the symptoms.
