Q:
I've had a tooth ache in the back right of my mouth for a couple of days now. I had some pretty bad cavities there recently, and I went to the dentist a couple of months ago for it, but I don't know that the problem was really fixed. I've gotten a bit busy recently, and when I get busy I don't treat my teeth very well. The tooth ache feels kind of like it's in my jaw, and that's why it's worrying me. Is there anyone at the health center who could look at it, or would I have to go to my dentist back home?
A:
We can look but really aren't trained to do much for it, so it would be necessary to see a dentist. There are dentists in Bellingham who are happy to see WWU students if you'd like a referral, or it may be less expensive to go to your hometown dentist so there is not a "new patient" fee.
