A couple weeks ago I noticed a small, slightly red bump on my genitals and I discovered that it may be a cyst. It hasn't gone down at all since then and it hurts a little bit when I put pressure on it so I'm not sure if it's infected. What should I do?

 

A:

You can try applying heat (warm rag) for 10 minutes several times a day for a week. If that is not helping it to resolve, then we can take a look and consider whether antibiotics are necessary.
