If you know the name of your insurance company and who it is under (which parent) then you can call the insurance company and explain your situation so they can tell you what their policy is about notifying the policy holder of any charges billed to the plan.

Most abortion providers do require payment at the time of service, or some proof that insurance will cover the procedure.

Since you are totally on your own in your decision making, you might want to consider making an appointment with a counselor to talk through the process. It is really important to have emotional support.
