Q:
I got a rash on my knuckles. It started two days ago, each day it gets a little worse. Today it looks like small blisters. It does not itch or hurt.
I do have eczema on my legs and I wash dishes therefore my hands are in water a lot.
Should I see a doctor?
A:
If you can't get the rash controlled in a few days with over the counter hydrocortisone cream 1%, then it needs to be examined. Wear rubber gloves while you are washing dishes, as the continually exposure to water and suds will definitely aggravate a contact or sensitivity rash.
