On Sunday the 20th of February, I was taking a shower after my morning workout and after doing a little inspection of myself I found what appears to be a blood vessel or two in my penis that may have burst. There is a dark purplish round circle in the immediate area. It is a bit painful(altho not too much) when pressure is applied and is warmer than the surrounding area to  the touch. Will this heal by itself or could it be something more than would require me to have it checked out? I appreciate your time.

This does sound like a bruise, most likely caused by trauma of some sort.  If it is not resolving by the time you see this response, we can certainly see you for a same day appointment if you call 650-3400.
