Q:
Back at home my doctor took one look at my ears and said "man you pretty much have a pinhole left in there. I'm surprised you can hear" she then recommended some mineral oil, but knowing I was flying in a few days I didn't want to risk that "full" feeling in my ear that I know comes along with soft ear wax. However once back at WWU I was still worried about that gooped up effect, but I couldn't fight trying to do something about it. So I made a warm solution of half water half hydrogen peroxide and drained it into my ear, then drained it out. It felt so good the first time I did it a second, but then it clogged, badly. I felt like I went too deep in the pool so to speak. I flipped out, because that clogged feeling was so uncomfortable. I layed on my side, pulling on my ear for temporary relief. Finally after massaging my ear for a few minutes it unclogged and some earwax came out. But since then I would say my problem has gotten worse. And I'm worried about getting that feel ing again. A constant ringing it seems is happening now though, and my ears feel "cloudy" or like when you have a cold, and aches if I have headphones in for too long or when working out and get my blood pumping. It's disconcerning. I want to loosen the wax I know, but finals week is here and I'm terrified of that "water logged" feeling. Will the over the counter remedies make things "worse" before they get better?
I want it gone and I want help.
What should I do?
Thank you
