Over the last 3 days, my right breast has been sore, and a small bump on my nipple has developed. Its about 1/5 the size of my nipple, and has the same redness/look of it. I am a 19 year old female who does not normally experience breast soreness, and my period ended about a week ago. Should I be worried?

 

A:

Any soreness, redness or swelling in the breast or nipple should be checked if it persists more than a few days despite hot packs,  so when we open Monday, please call for a same day appointment.
