I recently noticed a red lump on my labia majora, where the hair grows. I don't know what it is, it doesn't itch but it does hurt a little when touched. I am not a sexually active person. Is it a cyst? Should I get checked or is it going to go away by itself?

Pimples and simple hair follicle infections can happen in the vulva and labial region so it is possible that is all this is.  If you can do some hot soaks (warm rag or bath) for a few days, 10-15 minutes twice daily, it will likely go away. If not and it is growing or getting more tender, we should see you.
