Hi,

I had an appointment about two weeks ago - (I forget my doctors name!) but am wondering: 1. If there is a dermatologist on campus or 2. If I can get a referral by my doctor to one here in Bellingham for insurance purposes. (I have group health in Olympia and to see a dermatologist here I need my doctor to refer me).

There is no dermatologist on campus but you can be referred by us to a Group Health affiliated dermatologist in Bellingham if Group Health approves the referral.  Please write to Virtual.visit@wwu.edu with your name and student number so we can get that going as it can take two months to get into a dermatologist, even with a referral.
