I'm 21 and one of my breasts has been tender for a few weeks. They usually are right before/during my monthly cycle, but this started afterwards, has lasted longer, and is only on one side. It also kind of feels like there might be a lump. Should  I be worried? Do I need to get it checked?

Any breast change, including atypical tenderness or the possibility of a lump should be investigated at any age.  Call 650-3400 for a same day appointment with a women's practitioner.
