Q:
For the past few days I have been experiencing mild abdominal pain. The pain feels like cramps from gas or hunger, but I'm eating normally and have not been more gassy than usual. The pain comes in little waves. My stomach has also been slightly bloated, but again I have not been releasing more gas than usual and I have not been constipated.
Other things that I've been experiencing that may or may not be related:
I have almost wet the bed two different nights in the past week. By almost, I mean I started to relax and release urine, but woke up in time to stop it. I am an adult male. Haven't wet the bed since I was a kid.
I seem to be needing to go pee more often. Not by an extreme amount, but slightly more than usual and I have not been drinking more water or coffee.
There was a little bit of blood in my stool. Very little, but I don't think I've ever had blood in it before. I had blood in my stool a few days ago.
Any thoughts would be awesome,
Thank you
A:
Mild abdominal pain that is not sustained, progressing or associated with other symptoms is usually not a big concern. However, you are having two concerning symptoms of urinary change and blood in your stool (which are very likely completely unrelated) so you should be evaluated in clinic to make sure you don't have a urinary tract infection or bowel infection or inflammation.
