Is Summer's Eve vaginal cleansing wash recommended to use often to deal with vaginal odor and overall cleanliness? If not, is there another cleansing wash that will work better?
No vaginal douche or "washing" product should be necessary with a healthy vagina and can, in fact, cause disruption in the normal vaginal flora, making the mucus membranes more prone to irritation and infection.
If you are having unusual odor or other symptoms, then you should be evaluated for the possibility of an infection. Remember, there is odor that does happen from the presence of semen, which is normal, and there is changing mucus and potentially some natural change in vaginal odor in the normal menstrual cycle. This is not anything that needs "treatment" or "freshening" with a commercial product. Simply showering or bathing regularly is all that is needed.
